In this episode Joe Kuballa and Chris Thick take a break as the DIY
team head to the sunny state for a helping hand from Simon Nott and
the Stegbar Queensland SIS team to makeover a property in Caloundra,
the gateway to the Sunshine Coast! Queensland fireman Ian is having
trouble finishing things after attempting two years ago to start
building an extension to the family home. For this Job, the DIY
Rescue team and Stegbar have worked together on the family room
and a master bedroom with ensuite to create a modern contemporary
makeover for under $5,000!
Once again, interior designer Tara Dennis has designed and
created a comfortable and inviting space. Many homes these days
have computers that clutter up living areas leaving messy and
unsightly cords. Stegbar worked closely with Tara to address
this exact problem in this Caloundra residence by designing a
custom technology centre. The small home office was incorporated
as party of the overall lounge room makeover with the installation
of cleverly designed contemporary six-panel bi-fold timber door
opening so that the office can be hidden away from the main lounge
area when it was not been used.
In the master bedroom, Stegbar updated the ensuite with the
installation of a stunning frameless showerscreen complemented
with a microframe mirror. Continuing the theme of smart storage
solutions, Stegbar also designed and installed a modern built-in
wardrobe unit with unique internal fitout featuring a suspension
shelving system.
