To maximise winter comfort, the desired glazing option is one that has the lowest practical U Value rating and or mid to high solar transmission levels.
This does not mean that the glazing option is ideal or should be used on all windows, only those where you wish to allow warmth in and to keep that warmth in a room, in cold climates or at night.
