Cedar can be supplied:
– Raw – ready to be stained or varnished
– Pre-primed – ready for painting

- Integrated insect / fly screen (not available for bi-fold doors).

- Cedar Architectural sash profile is 55mm thick, standard cedar is 37mm.
- Enhanced thermal insulation due to thicker cedar sash profile.
- Will not warp or twist in any climatic conditions.
- Its fine grain structure minimises shrinkage and swelling, which prolongs the life of surface finishes.
- Built-in natural preservatives provides resistance to borers, termites, rot and fungus growth.
- Natural colour variation is cedar’s distinguishing feature, ranging from honey beige to deep reds and browns.
- Cedar can be re-finished to meet changing needs.
Performance
All Stegbar Cedar Architectural windows and doors are manufactured to comply with Australian Standards for windows and doors. This includes AS 2047-1999: Windows in buildings – selection and installation and AS 1288-2006: Glass in building – selection and installation.
Acoustic Performance
For optimal acoustic performance Stegbar Cedar Architectural windows and doors are capable of holding thicker glass than standard cedar windows and doors.
Energy Performance
For optimal thermal performance Stegbar Cedar Architectural windows and doors allow for a 24mm IGU. With the appropriate energy efficient glass option such as Low-E the ability of the window or door to provide resistance to external temperature extremes is enhanced.
