What do you replace?
When upgrading your product to energy efficient windows and doors we will replace all glass and sash or panel. The original frame will not be replaced. This offer is valid for Awning windows and Sliding/Stacking doors. To view illustration on what is replaced click here.
How complicated is the process?
We’ve made the upgrade process simple:

What happens to my warranty?
We cover all new material and workmanship, here a link to the replacement warranty.
How much does it cost?
The cost to upgrade to energy efficient panels varies based on building and product types along with glass selection.
You may save up to 50%** on the cost of a full window or sliding door upgrade to energy-efficient glass when opting to just replace the panels with our upgrade offer. The offer will be valid until the 31st July 2025.

Calculations assume dwelling is based on the AGWA House 1 single story dwelling model with a cost for a full window and door upgrade compared to sash and glass only upgrade. How long will the process take?
Choosing to upgrade your existing Stegbar Windows and Doors to Energy Efficient panels is a simple and relatively quick process.
After sending us your inquiry on the submission form you will receive an indicative price within 24 hours on business working days.
On average the process will take 3 weeks from approval of quote to installation of product.
The installation process will typically take 30 minutes per window and 1 hour per door to upgrade your panels. The upgrade will take place in the exterior of your home, with limited internal access required.
What is included in the promotion and are there any exclusions?
Included in our price is all material costs, installation labour, site delivery and scaffolding where required.
The replacement of any aftermarket window tints is not included in the offer and cannot be supplied by Stegbar.
Do you replace sashes from other window companies?
This offer has been developed specifically for homeowners who previously had Stegbar single-glazed Windows or Doors installed.
Upon inspection we may be able to ascertain whether a Stegbar window sash upgrade would be suitable for a competitor product, to request a member of the team come to your home to make this assessment please complete the above request form and advise your address is different to the one noted in your direct mail.
Do you do take the old panes/panels away?
Yes, all trade waste such as rubbish and old windows or doors are removed. Where possible we recycle the glass and the aluminium bead.

What about my plantation shutters or blinds, do these get removed?
Access is required from the outside. You should not require to remove window furnishings or shutters. There will be limited requirement for internal access.
Some dimensions on the sliding door may differ from the existing. Please ask your consultant when ordering for further information.
Is there any government support for upgrading to Energy Efficient windows?
