Select from our beautiful collection of finishes

Ask us about our ability to manufacture your doors in a finish of your choice.

Western Red Cedar has stunning natural beauty and colour variation. It resists warping, cupping, twisting, rot, and termites. It comes from sustainable plantations and is naturally a great insulator - providing outstanding thermal performance.

To enhance cedar's natural beauty we suggest you stain or apply a clear finish, ask us about our Classic Coating - a water-based protective coating to ensure protection during installation.

Our Timberaul windows and doors can also come pre-primed with a white base coat, which is ready for painting.

Meranti is has a uniformly straight grain with few variations and is resistant to warping, cupping and twisting. Meranti readily accepts both stain and paint finishes. It's widely used for decorative applications, including windows, doors, moulding and skirtings.

When you can't control the noise outside your home, Stegbar's Serenity range of glass is a smart way to bring peace and quiet to your home and add some serenity back into your life.

Serenity

Acoustic Glazing Range

The Stegbar Serenity Glass range is both a smart and stylish way to bring peace and quiet to your home.

We can’t always control the noise happening outside our homes. Whether it's the hustle and bustle of urban living; a train, freeway or flight path interupting you watching TV or having a conversation; you may need to provide a buffer between outdoor entertaining areas and the kids' bedrooms; or perhaps you're a shiftworker or light sleeper. Noise can significantly impact the quality of how we live in modern homes.

Stegbar's Serenity range of glass can drastically reduce the noise entering your home.

If you have a specific glass type or specification required for your project, the Stegbar team will happily source this for you.

Some of our popular acoustic and noise reducing glazing options include:

THICK GLASS

  • Thick glass is a term that describes single glazing using a piece of glass that is 10mm thick or above. Choosing thicker glass for your home, or particular zones in your house, will provide a level of increased acoustic performance.

LAMINATED GLASS

  • Laminated glass is two pieces of glass laminated together with a thin interlayer used between the pieces, this combination helps provide a noise dampening effect
  • Laminated glass looks the same as ordinary glass, but provides acoustic, security and UV protection
  • Acoustic laminate is also a great alternative to thicker glass, providing similar performance but in a thinner option

DOUBLE GLAZING

  • Double glazing is the term used for when two pieces of glass are used together, with a gap in between, the gap between the two pieces of glass can vary to improve its performance
  • Very common in the Northern Hemisphere, double glazing offers thermal insulation, security and noise reduction
