For over 80 years, Stegbar has helped Australians Raise the Bar with their new build or renovation. When you choose Stegbar, you can be confident you’re investing in products crafted with quality materials and built to last.
Our focus is on our custom made products, which are designed and manufactured in Australia. Quality is further assured through rigorous local testing and NATA-accredited processes.
With proper care and maintenance, our Windows and Doors are backed by a leading 10-year warranty, while Wardrobes and Shower Screens are covered for 7 years.
What's covered
The Stegbar warranty is a commitment to our customers that:
- All goods will be free from defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials
- All Stegbar services will be rendered with due care and skill
- This applies to all goods and services purchased from Stegbar since 1st March 2024
- If you purchased prior to this date different warranty conditions may apply
What's excluded
Our generous warranty terms reflect our confidence in the quality of Stegbar products and services. To guarantee the longevity of your Stegbar products, the warranty requires that care and maintenance instructions are followed, and the following exclusions apply:
- Products that are not maintained and cared for in line with Stegbar instructions
- General wear and tear
- Defects caused by misuse, abuse or neglect
- Goods not installed to our instruction advice
- Goods installed outside of Australian building standards or standard building practices
- Defects caused by transportation not carried out by Stegbar
- Product servicing which is not carried out by Stegbar
- Modification of goods
- Any abnormal stress imposed on the Goods due to coastal conditions, salt spray, corrosive chemicals, acid rain, extreme heat and/or humidity, excessive vibration or movements of buildings or foundations
