When you want nothing standing between you and your view

Stegbar launches new range of windows and doors that’s in a class of its own

Alumiere Casement Window

The Australian landscape is known for its beauty, diversity and surreal scenery. For homeowners living in a location that provides a breath-taking view, whether along the rugged coastline, amongst the lush mountain ranges, in the heart of the outback or a stunning city skyline, showing off their home’s outlook has just become easier.

Stegbar has launched its new Alumiere range, a high performance suite of windows and doors with a strong, bold profile that suits modern architecture and looks like custom-made joinery. Allowing Australian homeowners to take complete advantage of their views, Alumiere’s unique design allows for larger spans of glass for unobstructed views.

“Australians continue to embrace open-plan living and bringing the outdoors in, so the large expanses of glass and different opening styles of Alumiere really work with our homes and the way we like to live, emphasising ample windows and letting in more natural light,” says Christine Evans, Stegbar’s marketing manager.

The range features a variety of different opening styles and configurations and, with a common sash (frame) across all windows, they can be mixed and matched to create any number of design combinations. “Alumiere offers greater design and style choices than ever before with the ability to put together different products in the range to create a seamless look,” says Ms Evans. “When you start combining the different options, the vast amount of choice becomes dizzying. If you can image a configuration or have a tricky space to fill, chances are we will be able to bring it to life.”

Stegbar’s development team has removed the usual issues that plague large windows so that the Alumiere range is resistant to wind and rain, making them airtight and watertight. “Anyone who has had to listen to rattling or whistling windows during a storm will understand the importance of this innovation,” says Ms Evans. “Because Alumiere is leak-proof and rattle-free, it’s the ideal solution for homes that are exposed to Australia’s harsh climate, particularly in coastal areas. It also offers superior peace and quiet by blocking outside noise.”

With Alumiere comes the ability to individualise and personalise. As all window and door suites are made-to-order, the perfect powder-coat colour or anodised finish can be selected to complement or contrast the colour scheme of the home. There’s also an array of choice of glazing options, hardware and screens.

Glazing

Fill a home with large expanses of glass and light while maintaining perfect comfort with a large selection of commonly used and high spec glass types. The glazing range covers all areas of glass including thermal efficiency, security, acoustics and privacy.

One key solution

A new and extremely convenient ‘one key’ solution across all windows simplifies and improves security. “One key for all windows and one key for all doors means saying goodbye to searching for multiple keys to lock and unlock them,” says Ms Evans.

Screens

Alumiere insect screens provide an unobstructed view while keeping nature’s little nasties out through a variety of mesh materials. They have been designed to feel fully integrated and the frames can be colour-matched to Alumiere windows and doors.
