It's been way too long between drinks for the
Three Birds Renovation team... but for good reason!
They've been busy working on their most challenging project yet.

The brief? To fix the floor plan and make the home a haven for intimate family living and a beautiful, inviting space to work, entertain and accommodate the occasional overseas visitor. But the floor plan was anything but beautiful - it was more like a rabbit warren with no open plan, odd-shaped rooms, dark pockets, different floor heights and different styles in each room.

The result? A little slice of Spain in Sydney. The owners will feel like they're on a Mediterranean island vacay every day.

Episode 1

Three Birds kick off Episode One in the heart of the home, the kitchen. Once a small dark room at the back of the house, their vision was to bring the kitchen out of the shadows and into the spotlight, with a view of the water and with open plan access to the dining, laundry and lounge rooms too.

Episode 2

Episode 2 features SEVEN room reveals. Join the Three Birds team as they work through the design, planning, building and styling of two studies, the small lounge room, the powder room, the girls' bathroom and the kids bedrooms.

Episode 3

What do you get when the main bedroom boasts the best view in the house but the smallest ensuite we’ve ever seen and next to no wardrobe?

A HUGE TRANSFORMATION WEEK!

A house of this calibre commands a super-luxe parents’ retreat, so the Three Birds team are claiming more of the top-floor space to build a large walk-in-robe, an oversized ensuite with sea views to boot and a brand new balcony. Their goal? To make the owners feel like they’re on a European vacay every day.

Episode 4

FRONT ENTRY & STAIRS + ENTERTAINING/GUEST ROOM

This grand home needed a grand entrance that provides a warm welcome that’s both beautiful and functional. Somewhere to throw your keys, drop your bags and kick off your shoes… while also looking good enough for guests to sleep when required… and doubling as a pool house when you’re not hosting said guests. Challenge accepted!

You’ll be amazed at how much was squeezed into one multi-functional space.

Episode 5

EXTERIOR, ALFRESCO + WHOLE HOME REVEAL

And just like that, the time has come for the FINAL EPISODE of the Three Birds Renovations H15 #ModernMallorca series, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

In this episode the team reveal the front facade (it’s come a long way from its former 1950s style) and the alfresco spaces, of which there are many!
